One aspect of my services that clients enjoy most is utilizing the Skype screen share option. Clients often send me questions about MailChimp, Twitter and other platforms, such as “Where do I go to do this…?”, “How do I insert this information…?” The most effective method I and clients have found to go over these questions is using Skype screen share so they can actually see how to perform the task they want to do.
When using Skype screen share, clients are able to view my computer screen while speaking with me through call so I can answer their questions directly and show them what to do immediately. This is time effective for them as they swiftly learn what to do rather than toil with a program on their free time only to become frustrated.
Sometimes we switch roles where I can see what they are doing on their computer screen and give them directions on what to do so they are actually doing hands on learning and performing the tasks themselves. Not to mention they have fun learning and find they have even more questions of how to go about completing a certain task.
My clients enjoy using this feature immensely and are always happy at the end of the session when they understand what to do. I am positive to report that I do not receive confused emails from clients about the same task but rather emails inquiring about the next steps. Life is good!
