One aspect of my Online Marketing consulting that has been very helpful to my clients is the screenshare option I use on Skype. By using this feature I am able to let my clients view my screen while I show them how to perform specific tasks.
An example is when one of my clients did not know how to insert affiliate links into her blog so I did a screenshare session to teach her how to insert the links. While I moved from tab to tab I was able to speak with her and explain each step. Sometimes she had questions and I was able to answer in more detail while giving her a visual.
A primary theme in my service is to teach my clients to become self-dependent on certain tasks. I understand it can be annoying to constantly contact a consultant to do small tasks that are done on a regular basis, so I make sure you have an understanding of how to do consistent tasks you perform. As a bonus I even piece together a visual step-by-step guide so you have a reference and will not have to ask me to re-explain what I taught you.
